Rombach Farm Pumpkin Patch - October 2008





Today, Phil and I went on our annual pumpkin hunt to the Rombach Farm in Chesterfield, Missouri.  This year, due to the very wet Spring and Summer, the pumpkin patch is just overflowing with pumpkins and gourds.  We noticed a French variety of pumpkins too.  They are more flat looking but still nice to have on display.  Phil noticed a particularly good pumpkin and we chose it.  I will carve it for Halloween and have it on the doorstep.  I also had to buy some pumpkin butter and looking forward to having biscuits soon to sample it.

We saw some pumpkins that were over 200 lbs.
